We got out to Half Moon Bay at 9am and rented some wetsuits and body boards. We had the whole beach to ourselves because everyone was sleeping in and it was really cloudy and about 62 degrees. But, being from Oregon this was fine by us. We spent about 2 hours getting punished by the waves. This beach has particularly huge waves. We got flipped and tossed and smacked in the head and laughed really hard. As I am typing this, Jonathan is passed out on the couch from exhaustion. We are definitely doing this again.

Jonathan took me sailing in Monterey for my birthday. It was so fun, I've always wanted to go sailing and I would love to do it again. We also saw the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile.

A bunch of Oregon friends came down and we went camping at Sunol Regional Wilderness for the Fourth of July weekend.

Amber flew out to visit and we went wine tasting in Napa. The wineries we visited included Frog's Leap Winery, Swanson Vineyards, and Round Pond Estate. They were so beautiful and we tasted an amazing variety of wine. Frog's Leap was my favorite.
